JL or no?

heres the deal, i have 400watts rms and right now its going to a JL12w3v2. now, without changing the amp, would you recomend a different sub for an all around music lover? i listen to rap,rock,techno,oldies basically everything bu t country.

you will experience better soundquality and output from

http://www.ascendantaudio.com Atlas 15... Its a very nice sub. Only runs at 160 I think.

hmmmmmm would you say its an spl sub or sq? it looks good. but i'd have to go with a 12 instead of a 15. i dont need to shatter windows

just get the Atlas 15 it's a very good sub

The W3v2's are a very good SQ line of subs .The W3's sound great on all music and I would not mess with changing unless you just wanted it louder. I have not owned an Atlas but I cannot see it being that much more musically accurate and smooth to justify getting a new sub, unless you are like me and you like to switch every 3 months. If you want to really change the sound go with a different box, a good ported box tuned low would be great and really increase your output assuming you have a sealed box now.

about the shattering windows quote, yes i've read the other threads i was just trying to say i don't need a "neighbor-waker". I just want something clean. but if ANYONE wants to give me a w7 and 1000/1 for a total of 200$ (both in perfect working order of course) then by all means!

If you could save up another $50 a soundsplinter rl-p would be a significant step up from what you have now.
