Jl Hd600/4

I bought a JL HD600/4 amp and need some help.

I hooked this amp up and the power light flashes from green to red and no music.

I disconnected my RCA's and the light stood green so i thought i had a bad RCA's and try-ed a different pair but it did the same thing.

So then i now tell my friend to pull his car up to the side so i can hook the RCA's to his Alpine IVA-W205. WE hook it up and the amp works perfect so i think great it must be my new Pioneer Premier FH-P800BT double din CD player.

So I figure what the hell I go and get my old JL 300/4 and hook it up in my truck and to my Pioneer Premier FH-P800BT and it works perfect so now I am like what the hell why does the JL 300/4 work with my deck and the JL HD600/4 wont work with my deck.

The only difference with the Alpine IVA-w205 is it has 2volt pre outputs and my Pioneer Premier FH-P800BT has 4volt pre outputs would this make the JL HD600/4 amp not work.

Alternating Red and Green: lights to indicate

that the amplifier is experiencing a fault

that may require service of the amplifier, its

wiring or the vehicle’s charging system. Audio

is muted when this fault occurs. The most

likely cause of this fault is a low supply voltage

condition. If battery voltage drops below 8.5

volts at any point, the amplifier (except for the

“Status” LED) will shut itself off to protect itself

and the vehicle’s charging system. If the voltage

drops below 6 volts, the “Status” LED will also

turn off.

Yes that's what it says in the Manual.

It is not that problem that the manual says because the amp will work if i hook the RCA's up to my friends deck It just wont wont with my deck but my old amp works with my deck perfectly
