Hi guys, can anyone please tell me the difference between the jl audio e1200 and a1200 monoblock amplifier and if there any good???????

I have the e1400 even tho it is rated at 500 watts my Slash 500/1 has much more power

Slash is a more high quality amp.. They do a bit over rated and maintain power from 12v to 14v.. but they **** up alot of power to make it

Isn't the "a" model older than the "e" model? They were JL's entry level amps at one time I believe. Don't think they were anything special but, I would say they do rated and maybe 5%-10% more at 14.4 volts.

The e series and a series were identical except they added speaker level inputs to the e series amps.

The same chinese stuff... Get a used slash series amp, it is build on top of wonderful US PPI/XTANT design...
