i know jl isn't liked around here. but does anyone anyone know how they sound . looking to buy a set for my 2001 impala

They should be pretty decent, however, when buying JL speakers you really have to buy their higher end models to get your moneys worth. I've thought all the lower model JL's I've heard were pretty weak.

If i was you I would look into some other brands.

I'm not hating on JL here and this is all my opinion too.
