JL Audio w6v2 Sealed ProWedge and 500/1

Ok guys quick question.. I was told by my installer that I should not give the w6v2 the full 500 watts of power... So I have my remote turned up only 1/3 of the way... Is it safe to give it all shes got???

no cuz you amp will clip but tyeah that sub can easily take 500

just set your gains properly..

im feeding mine about 550 watts..

a 12w6v2 will laugh at a 500/1
