i just got pair hooked up to 850x2 kicker amp after the 1st week they strarted making a wierd noise like they were poping at high volume anybody have an idea why? maybe to much amp power?

yurn the gains down, could be box too

probably gains, box would have to be pretty big to overexcurt them

Nobody can tell what is wrong until we have some more info. What size W3's are they? Is your box ported or sealed? and how big is the box?

i put them in a different box and they stoped making that noise i guess the box is bad thanks for the advise !
