Jl audio Vs Re XXX

I have heard 2 w7's....one sounded great, the other sounded like total shit. I have heard many XXX's....all sounded good. Some great, but all good. I am totally dissappointed with W7's. They do not live up to the hype in my book.

But in your support, I think a main reason why as whole XXX's would sound better than W7's, is because people that buy XXX's, usually atleast know something about car audio before they drop the money. Because W7's are so expensive, lots of loaded morons willl buy them and they won't sound great. But If you do know what you are doing, they will sound incredible. To say that they do not live up to the hype is quite a statement.

I have yet to be impressed by a W7. They get loud as hell, but sound like ass. And every one I have heard has been in the car of employees of the local JL dealer //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif They are just boomy, like thudding bass; not smooth bass. It's like they can play no transients, it's either thudding or nothing, no "transitions" or smoothness.

if it were my choice i would get the w7's, but like previously said....you are not going to be complaining whether you get xxx's, or w7's, trust me on that.
