off the net? no. authorized is the only way i'd buy it only because of the horror stories i have read about with scratched off serial numbers. fixing amps isn't cheap if its out of your pocket.

Yes they are. Before this forum attacks are there other good amps and some for a lot less money, yes different strokes for different folks but I have owned them for 5 years and I have never had one problem and solid preformance so for me they are great amps.

knock on wood, JL has never given me problems. Although neither has anything else I paid that much for. I do not believe they are worth the retail or even prices you find on the net, But if you come to a deal with a used jl than it is a decent price.
