JL Audio TRUE POWER question

lol, You really like flashing that don't you?
It is true, that they will spank the JL's *** in power!

I will be purchasing one soon!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
I sure do, as a matter of fact i think that's my favorite product thus far!

sounds like they don't come with a birthsheet though. is that right? :thumbsdow

does it cost anything to have an amped benched by a local co or do you just have to know the people to do it? im awaiting a jl 450/4 and wouldnt mind knowing just how much its putting out. :readytogo

I never considered not having a birthsheet as a bad thing when dealing with

a reputable company such as JL. I have seen enough to know they put out

more than rated power. I don't really care to know exactly what my specific JL

amps put out for power. I know they do more than rated, and that is perfectly

fine with me.

Hey Bill how u like having cdt comps in the front and rear?
They sound awesome. The tweeters are **** sharp & bright... had to slap them on -6db so they didnt shatter my ear drums. With the sub almost at full output, they still keep up decently. And ya cant beat the price... $150 a set @ thezeb.com.

Since all my components were in the doors, I set the gain exactly the same (although I still like a super front stage with no rear fill).

jls do not need a birthsheet once you hook it up you will agree they deliver way more than they claim a buddy of mine has one 10inch w7 powered by a 500/1 and it hits hard than most 12's. i know my 500/1 put out a sh1t load of power i had it poering 3 w3s and still had it turn most the way down. the point is i've had a couple different amps and after own jl i will never own a different brand they are indestruckable and deliver way more power than they claim to. jls may be more expensive but i view it as you buying an anp that you will not be dis-satisfied with and i know i will own mine for years, go with jl and you wont be disappointed
