Does anybody have a link or know how much they cost? I am looking to buy a stealthbox for an '03 silverado extended cab. I can't find any info on prices though. thanks.

if you ask me, that is really dumb. the boxes are like 200-500$ and thats more than i would ever want to pay for a box

yea the 200+ price is out of my range for a box. are there any suggestions for a box then, i plan on getting the 12" w3v2 with a jbl 300 watt amp. but my truck has space requirements so what is the best way to take care of that?

If you don't build it yourself, a custom box might cost you as much. I'd build it myself and base the design off the JL box. Also, check into the mtx thunderforms. I've heard one in a '01 Z and it sounded pretty good. Personally, in that truck, I'd make sure to fire the sub down, whatever you do.

stop flaming without knowledge/a reason...

JL is a good company...just way too overpriced. their subs are pretty good, their amps are great...but its just way too expensive. JL doesnt 'sux' the way you meant it...

you are allowed to express your opinion, but just like in the real world you have to give reasons you have that opinion. There are many rumors in car audio due to people doing exactly what you did. they bash a product and never say why, then a newbie comes along and sees it and believes it.

if you think JL makes the absolute worst product out there, that is perfectly fine, just have (and post) legitimate facts as to why you believe it. that is all.

ya, that kinda pisses me off. i have a jl amp 300/4 and it performs quite well ill have you know. if its too expensive dont buy it, but dont tell everyone that it sucks (implying that it is a bad product).
