I had a JL 600 what amp (XD600/1V2) and the JL Audio Remote Level Control Knob (HD-RLC) installed professionally and hooked up to a JL Sealed 10in TW1 subwoofer, but the remote level controls behaves a bit odd. When turning the knob full counter clockwise to 7 o[clock the sub is off which seems normal, but you have to turn the knob clockwise to 12'oclock before the sub actually turns back on. Then you have a small amount of sub level adjustment from 12" o'clock (50%) to 5 o'clock (full clockwise).

I asked the dealer about this and he said its normal to act this way. I was assuming it would be a completely linear adjustment from one end to the other. Does anyone have one of these installed to confirm?
