JL Audio quality ?

w6v2's = most bang for the buck imo if you go with jl .. I have a 12w7 tuned low in a smaller 2.2^ft enclosure in a grand am and hit a 143.6@ 45 hz.. Not to shabby for a w7 low tuned in a daily setup

mehhh I thought the outputs of the subs blended very nicely with the rest of my friends setup, wasn't drowning out anything just a nice mix together. Not sure what they are capable of really doing if you are going all out SPL. SQ though I thought they were very nice.

i have 2 10w6v2's and they get plenty loud for me, but i dont' really have anything to compare it to except my last setup which was 2 10 P3's and those were loud, but sounded bad doing it. My w6's get louder then some 12's while retaining good SQ, but they are right by saying there is louder for the money, but i had the money to spend from insurence company because my last stuff got stolen.

Im still testing boxes for my w7.. There tricky to work with and dont seem to play a certain note better than another Ive tried 4 enclosures now from 28-44hz tuning smaller port large port etc, im always still around 143-144.x

I have 2x jl12w3 v3's powered by a PG 600.1, they sound awesome (now that i have the right box) and pretty loud, i can give them all the power the 600.1 can push and they will still easily take more.....so I'm going to give them more as soon as i find an amp.....

.... I was always skeptical about JL as everyone seems to love to bash them, but i love them as well as my XR components and find them to be well worth the money......doesnt at all mean i think they are the best, but i definitely feel i got my moneys worth...... and then some.

Its not bad for having the 1000/1 on it, and being tuned low. But i believe i could easily get a 45-46 with a lil work and a different amp.. In testing a few amps against my 1000/1 ive gotten better scores by about 1-2 db from a memphis 1000d to a sx12 than i did with my 1000/1 on the sx12.. The 1000/1 made the sub sound better, tighter etc but the memphis amp made you feel it a lil more and it sounded louder.. and it was
