Hey, whats going on...First of all thaks for takng the time to read this...The input you people give is really helpful and i am willing to take constructive criticism. I need anyone's opinion on what i should do with my new setup. First off...The car, I just got a brand new 2002 Mercedes-Benz C230 Sports Coupe. Basically it's a hatchback, and since i can fold down the seats, i can get alot of room in the back. What I have right now are (2)JL12W3's and (1)JL13W7. I was going to hook up the new JL 1000/1 Amp to the 13W7, and bride a JL 500/1 to the two 12W3's. A friend of mine who works at a car audio shop told me that running these subs together would NOT be a good idea due to the fact that the W7 would be fighting the W3's on the bass lines. So then my friend recomends his favorite company...Visonic (basically the same sub as audiobahn, the head designer of audiobahn left to make his own subs...Visonic, at a much lower cost but better quality) Anyways he suggested two 15" Comp. Visonic subs( 1250 RMS/2200 MAX)with one 3200 amp (bridged and ran paralell)...Well that sounded great! But when he gave me the price, even with all of the discounts he could put on, it came out to be $2,100+...sadly i would only be able to get $950 max for the W7, and arond $200 max for the W3's which equates to be $1,050...Falling short...Thankfully i have $1,000+ in a stock, but you know how unstable the stock market is right now...anyways, what do you think i should do? just go with the original JL Audio setup? Or follow my friends advice and go with the Visonic setup... I really appericate your help here...oh and here is a pic of my W7 so you know im not shitting you...http://www.geocities.com/theconge/13W7pic.jpg //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif if you have any personal questions about my system or think you really could help me out then email me at Imcalledjim@aol.com thanks! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
