hey guys im needing to upgrade my amp because i need a stronger 4 channel.

my curent amp is a memphis belle 1300 and its rated at 75wx4@4ohms and the sub channel will go down to 1 ohm and i have 2 12's so i run that at 2 ohms so 600w but im more intrested in more power for my mids and high's.

the amps im looking in to are the jl audio 450/4 and is rated at 150x2 for the front channels and 75wx2 for the rear.

the memphis amp is there new m class mc4.125 and that is rated at 125x4.

i have the option to trade in my belle to my local shop that i have been dealing with for years and thats where i got the belle from.

if i go with the jl amp i will have to eather sell the belle local or ebay it or post it for sale on here.

what would be the better amp.

my rear fill is a mb quart comp set

and the front comp set used to be a quart pvi 216 but one of my mids messed up

so i replaced the mids with a set of cdt carbon fiber mids that sound way better than the quarts i just need more power.

help me out guys and thanks.

The memphis will put out much more power than 125watts at 4-ohm, they are under rated severely.

But if you rid the Memphis Belle, what will you use to replace the sub section with, hmm?

JL is good but obv overpriced. Your memphis is good stuff but if you want a stronger 4 chan without breaking the bank, consider an Eclipse XA4000. Very solid amps, and I saw one for sale recently for $175 on the forums. Can't beat that!

it sounds like the easiest opion for you would be to get the memphis amp. seeing as you can trade your current amp in instead of selling on here. but as somebody else already asked what would you use in place for your subs?

i have a new model 125x4 and an old model 125x4 from memphis VERY stout amps and do more than 125w at 4 ohm. my buddy did a test on his new 125x4 and it managed 152w at 4 ohm. very underrated stout amps. if u can get one for a good deal id jump on it.

and the big belle is definetly a good choice too.

click on my sig to check out the soundcheck forums. if u have any questions about memphis the question can be answered there. all we run there is either memphis or treo for the most part.

some bench test and amp gutz are posted on the forum for memphis products if u are interested in checking them out.

Clicked the link, didn't see any thing on the memphis amp mc1.1100. PM me if I over looked it or for any other info. Thanks

the bass part is not my main consern i have a few options for that.

im going for sq and thats whats important to me.

i think the memphis amp wil be my best bet for what i want and my new cdt mids seem a little underpowered.

thanks for all the help guys.
