Jl audio or hertz?

Choosing between a jl audio xd1000/5v2 and hertz hdp5. It will be powering 1 set of hertz mlk 165.3 an 1 jl audio 13.5 slim sub. Let me know what you guys think. Both would be running as a 3 channel and sub would be at 2ohms

Pick which one fits best. A bit of size difference here

Both make about the same power

Both are made in China.

The hertz is the most copied amp out right now.

Is there a better 5 channel option? Under $1,000. I dont mind paying around $750 for a amp. Getting the hdp5 from a authorized dealer 20% of msrp

I guess my concern is the sub being under powered. I would like 750 rms on tap. Since the sub is rated at 600 rms. But if the 550 rms from the hdp5 is plenty thats the amp I would choose. If there is a better option out there I would consider checking it out. Thanks for the input

What would be the first next choice. Im willing to atleast check it out. I have to meet this guy monday to finalize everything. So still have time to make a change to the plans

My choice would be the Audison Voce of running active. Staggered power, made in Italy. But not efficient and large

Subwoofer channel will give you 600 watts....or 1,000 watts (4/2 ohm)
