JL Audio JX500/1D

I am only hooking up one 10W3V3-2 to the JX500/1D. The amp has 2 + (positive) inputs and 2 -(negative) inputs. Does it matter which positive and negative ones I choose? On a mono amp there is usually only one postive and one negative. It doesn't say in the manual.

Is there a good guide on here about setting the gain and bass boost? I don't have any other equipment.

The box is a sealed Subthump stealth fit for my 2014 WRX hatchback, head unit is an alpine ute-42bt. The box is a little bigger internal than recommended at .83. I am using a Rockford 4AWG power/ground kit.

Thanks in advance for the help and input!

Great thanks!

Is this amp overkill for this sub or do you guys think it's a good match?
