Jl Audio Ho Box

I don't have hate for jl audio, I just know you could build a box for significantly cheaper that would have the same output..

I have a lot of hobbies and theres always a company that people love to hate on. People mainly hate jl around here cause of the price, not cause they make shotty products. I haven't had a chance to put my w7 in other vented box beside the sealed box that I built for it. I can't imagine it can be any better than the HO box. Seriously, this thing is loud and musical. If I didn't get my w7 and HO for the price I did, I don't think I would have the chance to hear it.

Cruise over sometime and we'll drop it into a nice ported and see what it can do man.

In this case, the hate is warranted from taking a simple ported box design and making it sound like its high tech and selling it for buttloads. 10 dollars of engineering(because they can pull a good box outta their @ss easily kuz they JL), 40 dollars of materials, a few for shipping and marketing, the rest profit.

Hell, @CSCStang, you can just build a bunch of these and sell it labeled as JL H/O styled designed boxes and make profit.

Bro, I will take you up on the offer. I've been wanting to build a ported to do a A/B comparison. But I don't think my box building skills is up to par to do the test justice. As soon as I can get some time off of work i'll hit you up.
