Looking for some information. Here is my dilemma, I have a 2008 Toyota Tacoma double cab. I have been putting off installing my audio equipment for almost a year now and I am finally getting ready to install it or have a local stereo shop do the install due to my work keeping me busy and the wife. I have a DLS A4 amp for the front door speakers (HAT Clarus C61-2) and rear door speakers (HAT Clarus C51-2). I have a Zapco Ref 500.1 amp for the sub (JL Audio 13TW5). My goal is sound quality. The dilemma is the foot print that both amps will take up on the rear wall behind the rear seat. I already have a sub box and amp board the Mr Marv made for me. The sub box and amp board with take up the entire rear wall and my wife likes the storage area behind the rear seat. I am considering the JL Audio HD900/5 to power both sets of HAT's and the sub. My concern is the sound quality comparing the DLS to the JL HD amp. I like the small foot print the JL will give me and I if I go with the JL I will mount it under the front seat by doing so my wife will still have a storage space behind the passenger side rear seat. I have not been able to locate much information in the way of a review about the JL Audio HD900/5 and I am not excited about parting with 1K for the price of admission. I welcome any and all input concerning the sound quality of the JL HD900/5.
