Decided against it as I don't have a Bose/JBL/etc aftermarket system so the EQing is barely noticable. Gonna take my chances on a cheapo LOC.

To save you some agrivation, I have an 05 3, and I went from using the HU with the Mazalp, Navarone LOC and Soundgate AUX-3 using to input Ipod, CD changer and Sirius all on the stock HU. Never really like the HU's sound and ended up going all Alpine!
