JL Audio C2/C5

Hi guys, I'm on the verge of purchasing some componets. I've heard the JL c5 componets and the sound great! I had a chance to compare them to alpine type r,folcal polyglass and kenwood comps. I like the c5 a lot. I was wondering has anyone heard the c2 compnents and if you knew how they compared to the c5. Or if you could reccomend and componet set comparable to the c5 for less money (about $300 online) the only thing that's really stopping me is that I'm somewhat a cheap bastard =] thanks in advance for your help!

Ps,I listen to EVERYTHING!! And I'm going for a sq build but want to turn it up every blue moon.

Check out the ID CTX65cs comps, great sounding speakers under the 200 dollar mark.

c2's are nice but theres a reason c5's cost more...i find they play louder,cleaner, with more detail, and handle more power...

to different budgets so that parts up to you

the c2's tweeter is way brighter. The midbass is a little less punchy, but still strong.
