i currently own a memphis pbc4400 which is 50x4@4ohms

this is 75x4@4ohms besides that this amp will be louder is it still better then my memphis ?

memphis makes solid amps so i can't really say this will be better. jl makes good stuff but kinda pricey.

i am running my xr component set with the JL 300/4 and i have nothing bad to say about the amp. the sound is clean and the mids response is excellent.

i think it will work as well as it looks, but i wouldnt buy JL's overpriced equip. I got a free 10w7 and a pair of 12w3v2 for 150 brand new. never pay their ridiculus retail unless u like spending more $$$ for little watts.

I wouldn't pay retail, but the feature sets on the JL amps are quite nice...not that most of the people on the forums would actually take advantage of them.

Must be very nice to have those subs for that price.

I had the 300/4 and it is a very nice amp but it is rather expensive, if I were you I would try to get one that is used. I used mine to run some diamond comps with the amp bridged to put out 150 by 2.

i got my 500/5 for 500, no warantee etc. for the price of the 300/4 you might be able to get a zapco or something im not too sure on that though
