JL Audio 12w7

What do you think of the JL Audio 12w7? what other subwoofers are better than it around the same price. What would be the best four JL Audio 12w7 or two 13w7?

The W7 is one of the best drivers ever made IMO...gets **** loud when it wants to and sounds awesome- phenominal low end. If you can afford it, it is definitely worth it...

eclipse alums are good, i would say the new PG titaniums, people have said some bad things..

I dont know which other subs are as good as 12w7 in that price range but I have 2 =D and they are under rated for power. JL says there a 750 rms sub... I put 1000-2000 into each all the time and have yet to have any problems from either of them. and there really ****ing loud! i should be deaf in a month. they hit hard and have great low end too. I dont regret it. I'll let you know how many DB they hit after this weekend! im going in my first competion. I will be in SPL class only not SQ cause my install is messy. but it is temporary... Good Luck

If you are considering Eclipse Titaniums? When I was upgrading my system, I started looking into high-end subs (obviously W7 came up) and I ended up getting a single 12" Eclipse Titanium (2003 model). Very good SQ and SPL... and if you got 2, it would definatly slam.

Look into em.
