Jl Audio 12w6v2...which Amp Should I Run???

Well I just picked up a jl w6v2 12. Im new with jl so if any of you guys have one let me know what amp you think runs this sub the best. im looking at the 500/1 jl amp, Or the memphis 1000d. So any opinions are well appreiated. Thanks

It would be nice to have a matching amp, but with the memphis you will have much more power, if you decide to upgrade later. If the price isnt to much of an increase, then I say go memphis for future reasons,but watch your gains!!

What about phoenix gold amps, or rockford fosgate , or xtant amps?

Im a bit biased, but i love pg amps. Overbuilt great performing amps. Just do some looking around, and ide say just pick whichever amp you can get the best price on, because i can see your mind is obviously not made up. Any of the companies mentioned can sufficiently power your sub. Good luck

If you are thinking about the Memphis, then I suggest you get it. Just watch the gains and you will be fine.

i havent heard much good or bad about the new one either though

i had a memphis 1000d to a eclipse tit w/ slot port box WOW thats all I gotta say. but then again that xtant sounds good. Also is zapco still hangin in there?

zapco makes some **** nice amps, out opf all of them you have listed id try to find a zapco.
