JL Audio 12w6v2 D4 or IDQ12v3 D4

Trying to get a SQ set up. Clean bass.

My amp of choice would the Alpine PDX 600.1. Unless ya have a better suggestion.

I have a 1.20 cubic feet sealed box. Would this be okay for either sub? I know the IDQ suggests a .5-1.0 cubic feet sealed box. Would the extra space in my sealed box be a problem for the ID sub?

For quality, cleaned bass, and deep respond. What would you guys recommend???

Both are nice i say IDQ. 1.20 might be ok. you could try it then add some 2x4's in to take up some space and see how it counds

how would i wire the sub up? dual 4 ohm sub to 2 ohm amp?

id go idq...after displacement you should be around 1cuft in the box

I personally think the w6v2s sound better. Whether or not the extra price is justified is debatable.

Im in the same boat as OP. my amp is 2ohm stable and i was thinking bout the 12" JL w6 V2 or the W6 if there is a big difference or what is it?? I was planning to go ported thought.
