Hello,

I have to buy a set as the topic for 320$, new with 24 months warranty. 27l closed chest, but i can build a 35 litres chest.

I searched the forums and google, but I found information only about 4 ohm version.

1. Is this set is worth the money?

2. Has anyone heard how play this speaker at 2ohm, it's a big different from the 4ohm? (I listen to all kinds of music)

3. whether this amp will give him enough power?

4. Maybe someone could give me opinions about this sub and amp.

Waiting for reviews from people who are familiar in this forum, and maybe some of you compared the speaker to the other //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I hope you reply to this topic in the future will be useful to others, because as I said I can not find anything about this version.

Thank you and best regards //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

PS. Sorry for my english but i'm from Poland and i permit me to write in this forum, because maybe friend from abroad can help me, because Poland forums know nothing about this set up //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif I'm counting on your help //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

1: Its a decent price

2: you are getting more power, so probably sounds better and louder being fully powered.

3: That amp does more like 800 watts so plenty of power for that sub.

4: how good they sound will depend on the box built for it. They will sound okay with a sealed box but a ported will make them sound a lot better. Or a 4th order bandpass

Thanks for reply. But in Poland forum people said about this amp is maybe can not to cope with 2 ohm and you can not always believe what he wrote the manufacturer. What do you think about, could i believe JBL? Maybe is there anyone who test it in 2ohm? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif and prize about this set in Poland is 1200zł(320$) in one shop who do sale, If i buy this set separetly in another shop i would pay a 2100zł (560$, in terms of your currency).

I hope that does not disappoint on this set

@Maky ; is running one in 2 ohms right now, no problems at all along with almost all of the people that purchased this amp here in the US. The people you've talked to are smoking crack and doing sh*t wrong. Probably distorted the signal, didnt provide enough electrical support and blew up the amp through low voltages. Search up the big 3 upgrade and perform that along with setting your gains properly and you will have no issues running it at 2 ohms. Make sure its wired in series-parallel instead of parallel.

As Jeff said, I have been running the GTO 751EZ @2Ohm just fine and It's been many months since I've been using it. It's officially rated 750RMS@2Ohms so its manufactured to put out the power at that Impedance load, you should have no trouble.

As for the amplifier Itself, I'm very satisfied with the performance of it. The Gain set CD they provided works but it's better to use DMM or by ear to set gains. Also, If this amplifier is anything like it's younger brother the

it will probably put out more power than it's rated. You should love it!

Thanks, from a different perspective whether you recommend this set to buy for me?, or maybe at this price i can buy something better? What is your opinion?
