I just put one of these in my car on a 500 watt fosgate amp in a vented box.....OMG!!!! i had the bass turned as low as it can go on my stereo and it still was hurting my head, i had 2 10 stage 2 fosgates.....fuk fosgate, that one 12 turned all the way down is louder than those 2 turned all the way up, plus the sound quality is just amazing, two thumps up for this sub and i recommend it to everyone

The stage 2 subs arent fosgates best, but its good to hear the jls worked out. They make good equipment.

well i know the stage 2's weren't the best, but its bad when the stage 1's i had before it were better, i think that set of subs i had may have just been bad

If the stage ones were better, yes. Somthing was extremelly wrong with the install on the P2's.

it came in the box designed for them from fosgate, the one thats got black carpet and gray siding and stuff

I like the W3v2's better than the stage 2 RF subs. I am getting ready to get two 15" W3's and port the box to 35Hz.

i wasnt neccessarily impressed by two 12w3v2s in a sealed box. personal preference tho.

another sub in general adds anywhere from 3-6 db to your total system output... which is far from being 2x as loud.

sorry miss read his, i thought he meant that me upgrading to the JL didn't double it, however i don't see how if i another subwoofer with another 300rms watt amp wouldn't double it, how can it only add 3-6 db's?? not doubting yall but i don't see how
