JL AUDIO 12" W7 vs. 12" HERTZ MILLE ML 3000

I'm building a system for my 1991 cadillac sedan deville and can't decide whether to go with the( DIAMOND audio d6 1200.1 and 2 12" JL audio w7's) or an( ARC audio ks 1000.1 and 2 HERTZ mille ml 3000 12" subwoofers)!Please help me decide between the 2 combos.

Spl and sq, a lot of both really, I know I would be underpowering the jl's but some peolpe run a jl 500/1 to a 12 w7 and say it sounds good

IMO 2 different subs. If you want to hit hard W7, but if you want nice clean boom Hertz.

I'm pretty sure the W7 will give you a nice clean boom as well... they are know for their sound quality.

Sounds like you,d be underpowering both but i bet the hertz/arc setup would be more responsive with that power. It takes at least 700w to get a w7 moving right IMO.

Yea some places that I went to said the milles handle 600 watts rms and others say 750 watts rms, I'd be giving them 500-600 watts rms each so I'm sure they would sound good.

Any suggestions on a 1500-2000 watt rms amp in the $450 price range.

yea I'd go with the arc/hertz setup, since you'll see the 1000@ 2 ohm. Should sound great. Another option may be the audison SRX 1D, those subs and that amp would compliment each other well. Im running one now and it does at least rated power

that i can not, havent looked at the specs in depth, i may be inclined to go sealed, still should get low and loud and sound great in the process. Plus it wont take over your whole trunk, those srx amps are pretty small too.

yea the sealed would sound nice. The recommended sealed voulume is only 1.2 cubic feet per sub so I'm sure trunk space won't be an issue.

yeah thats right the W7 doesnt hit hard and the Hertz has a "clean Boom" shweet brother you must own both of these subs, I can tell.

Both subs would be a great pick it depends on hw much room you want to give up for enclosure and the amount of power that you have at the end of the day with 2k+ I would go with either sub, maybe even propperly power one sub over the half rms rating that you seem to want to give them. AQ2200 will get either setup really loud.
