JL Audio 12 inch TW5?

Whatever happened to JL making a 12 inch TW5? It was on their web-site, but not anymore, and I see that some companies online have them for sale? If JL never made them and or never released them what’s the deal? Just curious I had a 13TW5 and really didnt like it

Don't worry about it! Shallow subs don't sound worth a F uck to start out with! I have installed just about every brand. They all have the same thing in common. They sound like S hit when you turn them up. They bottom out and distort sound so bad, too it don't make no sense.

I also have heard a few and none really sounded that great to me, maybe the new BM will be the best one, just got to wait and see

It really should be. Will have the most excursion potential, 13mm XMAX using XBL^2. Should be one hell of a driver.

have you had a chance to actually hear or mess with one yet. especially after it was totally revamped. or is this just talking them up before something else happens to make changes to

No, I want to hear it, but I am in MI and Nick is in NC. Anyway, I wasn't saying it is the best or anything, I was just saying that on paper it should be, but who knows what will happen when it finally is released.
