JL Audio 10W3v3-4 OR Alpine SWR-1042D?

Ok before i buy a subwoofer i want to make sure i making the right decision.

So i want one 10 new sub under 175 and it narrowed down to these two.

The JL is $50 more but if it is better ill pay that.

Please if someone has had or heard both please post which you think would be better overall. O and by the way i listen to rap and plan i building a ported box

how much power do you have?

If i was to get the JL audio i would get a Kicker 08ZX300.1 mono

JL. does amazing things tuned low

Right now i am thinking about the getting the JL because they are made in the usa and would probably last longer and sound better than the type r.

what do you guys think about this?
