jl and kicker together

sure, that would make a good system.

i'd say a ported box would be the way to go, but i'm a ported box freak //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

But i have a civic so is the ported box going to still sound good in my truck, and i have never had a ported box,is the bass as deep as a sealed?oh yeah and the reason i want a s10L7 is cuz i would only have to pay $70 for it.

hell of a price for a 10L7...

anyway, yes, the bass is going to sound fine in a civic...just play with aiming the box and port around. Ported boxes are more efficient than sealed, so they get louder and don't need as much power to do so. Depending on where you tune the box for, that'll determine exactly how much SQ and SPL you get. Generally, higher box tune = more SPL, less SQ. I'm pretty sure Kicker recommends an enclosure in the mid 30's, which is the middle ground between the two.

ported will sound awesome in the trunk, and have way more output over sealed anyday.

and yes, awesome price! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif
