i have this nice pair of original JL slash series amps for sale. i have had the 500/5 for a few years now, but have never used it. i hooked it up to make sure it worked when i got it, and then it went under the bed. i intended to use it in the wifes truck, but it never happened. and untill a couple weeks ago when i dug it out for giggles i had all but forgot about it. then i got it out, and went to JL's website and read the manual. holy crap this thing is versatile! i never realized how many features it actually has. so i was gonna toss it in my truck. then i thought "250 watts aint gonna cut it for sub duty". so i found a nice 250/1 on craigslist for a good price. the 500/5 has a really cool feature that lets you daisy-chain a 250 to work off the same inputs as its internal 250. then i thought "500 watts aint gonna cut it for sub duty" LOL. you know how plans always snowball....so now i bought a SAZ-1500, and a DD S4 and have more power than i know what to do with HA-HA. will sell the JLs for $475 shipped. absolutely will not separate. not much feedback here, but check my screename on DIYMA or ebay for plenty of refs.
