JL 500/1 Pushing a 12W6 Sealed

Hi

I searched but I could not get any help for my exact application

I just purchased a JL 12w6 and the 500/1v2 Amplifier, I have built a Sealed box to exact JL specifications! I was hoping you could help me as far as the initial setup of my Amplifier??????

The sub is facing the rear of my car(06' Mustang)

I purchased this setup more for SQ but I would obviously like to maximize the bass as much as possible. I listen to alot of Rock if that helps at all

I have an Alpine CDA-6885 Head Unit which has Separate Subwoofer Tuning Capabilities

Any help getting me in the right direction will be greatly appreciated

I could be wrong but I believe hat on the JL site un w6 that it will tell you how exactly to set your amp

hopefully BringDaBoom will chime in.....he runs the exact equipment with a different box and says he couldnt be happier

I had that same sub in a sealed box facing rear with that amp. I had the crossovers in the amp off and the gain about half way up. I did all the adjusting in the head unit. Had it crossed over at 80hz. by the way pretty much the same car, 05 Mustang
