Jl 500/1 Or Jl 1000/1???

I Have 2 10'w3v1-d2's. Which Amp Will Be The Best For My Subs. Im Leaning Towards The 1000/1 But Still Not Sure. Is There Any Difference In Sound Bewtween The Two Amps? What Are Your Suggestions?

1000/1 is overkill for a couple W1v2's, that 500/1 is more than they need also, but from the two, the 500/1 is more acceptable. A cheaper and better matched amp would be a JL e1400D.

I like the slash series amps though, go for one if you plan on upgrading your woofers down the road.

I started with the slash series and when the E series came out i wanted to see what they were all about and in my opinion the slash series is a much better product.

the 500/1 will be more then enough to run those 2 little woofers.

i had a 500/1 powering 2 12" powerbass subs a little while ago. giving each sub thier rated power, it sounded great. but if you plan on upgrading subs later on, i would possibly gor for the 1000/1, just my 2 cents. the slash series are awesome amps.

eventually im going to get the w6's but thats later on, i switch subs like every 3 months just to see what i like and what not. if i do get the 1000/1 will it be too much for the w3's or should it sound just right?

it can work, just make shure you dont over power them
