How do you guys compare the JL 300/4 v2 to the Alpine PDX-4.100?

I am powering a set of Alpine Type X reference component speakers.

How do you guys compare the JL 300/4 v2 to the Alpine PDX-4.100?

Never had a PDX but read as many reviews as you can before you decide. Ive read some negative things about those PDX's. Search here and diyma.

As for the JL, I had one bridged to my Focals and it sounded great, over-all an excellent amp.

Well I have the 300/4 in my car, and i was looking for a little more juice since the jl only puts out 75 rms, so i'm getting a pdx-4.100. It also depends on which type x's your getting. If your getting the ref then the jl will be enough, but the pro series you should have the pdx.

The 300/4 bridged has got pretty good grunt to it. Mine pushed a set of alpine spx -177s hard and sounded great. better than my pdx 2x150.
