JL 300/2 vs Crossfire VR602

[02TurboA4 10+ year member]

I'm look at either the JL 300/2 or Crossfire VR602 to power a set of rainbow profi 6 1/2 components. Both amps are 150 x 2 @ 4ohms. Suggestions? other recommendations around the same cost? Thanks, Jon

shouldnt the 602 be a hell of a lot cheaper? i only spent 230 on mine off ebay. never owned a 300/2 to compare it to, and only bought the 602 to match my vr2000d, but i love it. the 300/2 probably has more adjustability, but if you have a nice deck, it doesnt really matter.

i ditched my 300/2 that i was running. i felt that it was a little weak. i went with a zapco 360.4 bridged. i was much happier. the JL is a very reliable amp, there is nothing wrong with it at all though.

talk to istari1, he just went from a JL 300/2 to a 360.4 as well.
