I keep reading how underated this amp is. What is a good overall RMS output? I know the factory specs are 250, and I keep reading people say they wil put out over 300. Is this true? If so it should run the 10W3 ok.

I heard that they do right around their rated power. They have a regulated power supply. Its clean power and should be enough for 1 w3.

+1.. alot of people kept saying the 250 and 500/1 were underrated, but after searching the forums, alot of people including a someone that works with a JL rep said most of them do just there rated specs.. if not maybe 30-50watts more at the most

The real key is they aren't overrated like a ton of other amps.

They may be, but it isnt by a lot like kicker.

With JL slash amps you get what they you get and know more. But its VERY CLEAN POWER. That amp will be fine for that sub.
