How much you think this puppy can handle?

500w rms, but i always hear that JL underrates theyre speakers...

pushin em with a kenwood 500w rms @ 2ohm right now, i dont think im comein close to tickling its fancy...

going to buy a new amp for her within a few weeks, tryin to figure out how much juice I want .__.

I doubt that they'll handle so much over rated that you could hear the difference.

I find it hard to believe that it needs more than 500 watts, unless it's in a small sealed box. I know that in a ported setup it won't need 500 to reach mechanical limits.

In my experiences JL's don't handle much over rated power. What kind of box is it in?

roughly 3 cubic feet, ported. My first box, i dont know exactly what its tuned to, the tunings rather low tho.
