JL 13w7 - Sealed Box

I got a JL 13w7 and a JL 1000/1 at no cost to me to run in a show from my buddies shop, called sturn audio. As of now its in a prefabed sealed box (ported box built to trucks specs to come) . I ran it on 100 W RMS and all I have to say is WOW. The output of this sub is amazing for the power I gave it. It is also amazingly accurate on the notes with great SQ. I cant wait to hear the output of it on 1000w. This has gotta be one of the first subs I thought actuly sounded loud in a sealed box. Just had to post because this sub gave me the wow efect.

i thought the same thing...until i heard IDMAX. the jl seemed to have more spl, but the IDMAX plays at low volumes so much more effortlessly, like it doesn't need to gobs of power to work well.

Even better, I Built a 1.43 Cu ft box ( around 1.3 after displacmnet) tuned to 37hz for my Audiobahn AW120t and its SPL is close to that of the JL's both on 100w RMS. JL surpasses it in SQ though.

Well I picked up a 12W7 in a sealed and just waiting on the amp to arrive in the mail..(Fusion NV2500.1)...should hopefully feed it around 1100rms and see what it can do....pretty excited to hear ......
