JL 13W7 AE D1.5 PSI Recone

Item(s) Description/Condition:

Previously blown, sent to PSI to be reconed and rebuilt. Never played after I received it back. New 3.5" dual 1.5 ohm voice coil, high output spider, new dust cap and surround. Basket and bottom of magnet have a few scuffs but since you cant mount this sub inside out I don't think you'll be seeing it to often. Clamp ring and O-ring are missing but replacements can be purchased online.

+ A high output spider. That is where the additional $500 comes from.

I believe so, I don't know a whole lot about reconing and upgrading. I wasn't given a whole lot of info on the parts used other than a slightly stiffer spider and similar to JL spec coil.

Just as a heads up, you may want to consider changing your price if you plan to sell on this forum. People here know the market value of equipment.

This site has the 13w7 for $650 new. It may not be the AE model but still...

Your asking price is well over twice the going rate for a used/reconed speaker, especially if you cannot provide specifics on how it was rebuilt.

If you are set on getting anywhere near your asking price, Craigslist will be a much better avenue.

Or you can leave it like it is so we can sit back and enjoy the posts to come.

I'd do 300 plus ship to wisconsin, you will be lucky to get that on the forums. Try Craigslist and hope to find someone dumb as a box of rocks. I will also throw in a half used roll of toilet paper

lol man I saw a rockin deal on craigslist the other day, 2 L7 15s in a ported box with a sony amp, some 0 gauge wire and a capacitor, and an epicenter for 1200. 1200!! I face palmed for about an hour trying not to lose faith in humanity..

you quit craigs? im always on there man, I find some good deals on there. sony xplod, volfenhagen, you name it. the good stuff. btw does that sub have onion in it..
