I have the 12" version in a slot ported box....running on 140watts rms. The sub sounds really good, and goes very low. It also gets loud. For an entry level sub, I think it would be hard to find a better one.

its a good sub, wont get extremely loud but sounds good and is a nice entry level sub...

Its not a huge SPL sub, but I can rattle my entire car, and make my ears tingle off of only 140watts. People think Im running multiple subs when they hear my setup.

the w1v2 is a nice sub for a first system i wont get loud but it will sound very good sqwise.

It will get decently loud, nothing special. But if your not use to loud setups then its not bad. Everyone will have opions on SQ but my personal feelings on the w1 line in SQ arent high. Very good starter sub, give it power and it will give you noise.

i just got 2 13w1's for christmas and it hits pretty hard and sounds great sq wise
