JL 12W7 + Orion 2500d = good match?

think the 3 ohm power from my 2500d will be too much for a JL 12W7?

200 amp excessive amperage HO alt and optima and Big 3 coming...so there should be *too* much of a voltage drop.

it should handle it.....right?

cause isnt a 2500D 2500w@1ohm? if so then theoretically its 1250@2ohms and then 937.5w@3ohm. explain...

if these power specs are right thats around what 1300 watts? that s no problem for a 12w7 .. My 1000/1 are 1217 watt s at4 ohm @11 volts and 1244 at 1.5 ohms .. so if the 2500 d is 1700 at 2 and 1000 at 4 .. Id say ur prolly going to be pushing almost the exact same power as a 1000/1 due to the 2500d will **** ur alt alot more than the jl , and the jl is also regulated to 11 volts so u wont loose any power with voltage drop either
