Jl 12w6v2

im pretty sure it would, if i turn the gain on my amp all the way up my sub starts to bottom out, if you ran two they just wouldnt hit as hard
you're an idiot...

and to answer the question, yes it will work. but they would be better off with more power.

i know it sounds like they are "bottoming out" but trust me they are not... jl has had a ton of bad reviews by people that test them with not near enough power and not suprizingly aren't impressed by them... i won't go into it but the way that the subs are designed you have to give it enough power for it to sound like it's supposed to... the bottoming out effect is caused by distortion that is a result from underpowering... with the right amount of power you won't hear that sound, they just get louder and louder untill they blow

hmm funny you should mention that... i have 12w3v3 being slighty underpowered right now.. its getting 325rms @ 4ohms but the specs are overrated since the amp is a hifonics

but when i pop the trunk and let the music play, i keep hearing this fainted slapping noise.. it sounds like it slapping something or bottoming out but my gains are set at about 60%

that sound is ONLY audible when i pop the trunk and im looking directly at the sub... otherwise it doenst matter how loud it is i wont ever be able to hear it from inside the cabin
