JL 10W6 Problems

I have a set of 10W6's. There is somethign wrong with them - when I push them they don't have any movement. They won't move up and down like they are supposed to, like they are just stuck in one spot. I have a feeling that means they are toasted, though I was wondering if there is a way to fix them? Also, what could of caused that??

Thanks!

Thanks for the info -

Do you know if there's a way to replace the coil yourself.... 90 bucks seems kinda steep, almost worth while buying new subs. A coil is pretty simple, just like the name sounds - a coil of copper wires. Any tuts on the net you've seen to do this?
