JL 10w3v3 in mtx thunderforms box?

I have a mtx thunderforms sub and box in my 01 f-150 supercrew. Will a JL 10w3 fit in that box and sound better than the thunder 4500 10" that is in there now? Has any one tried this or kno if it will work?

How about putting it in and trying it for yourself? If you dont like it, build a new box.

dunno how deep thunderforms for the f150 are... for my truck the max depth thunderforms will accept is 4.56" -- not much deeper than the t4500s that are offered with them. i'm happier with the adire koda 10s i swapped into my thunderform. biggest difference is that the 4500s got only 200w from the amp (they are 4ohm dual voice coils wired to 4 ohms) versus the kodas wired at 2 ohms
