x2...i read both of these posts and im confused...only thing i can think of is that he is trying to completly fry this one to fix it for 180$? i dont understand this guy...confusing

IIRC, JL Audio offers a flat rate repair service on their amplifiers, provided they were purchased authorized. If it was not purchased authorized, you may be SOL.
