Jl 1000/1

Im looking to buy a JL 1000/1 because i see that it does its rated power (1000 rms) at 12.4 volts and at any ohm load......The thing is that i dont want to pay 600 dollar for it. Are there any other amps that can do close to what the 1000/1 can? I want up to 1500w rms, but the amp has to be super efficient because im on stock electrical system. my current amp is very very efficient, but i want more power, thanks

We sell the Diamond Audio D61000.1 and have one that benched almost 1800 watts RMS at 14.3 volts!!!

Retail is $699.99 and MAP is $649.99 I believe, great amp with 3 year warranty.

Memphis 1000D is also a powerhouse, doesn't do much more over rated power, but its consistent, small, and stable. Similar pricing to the Diamond amp.

I work for a car audio store in OK that sells that stuff, I was giving recommendations. As far as efficiency goes, that Memphis amp has worked well with stock systems, but the Diamond is more powerful and has the better warranty, which is actually lifetime, not 3 years.

The Pheonix Gold Xenon 1200.1 does about 1200w RMS at 2 OHMS at 13.7 volts.

MTX 1501D. I pushes what it says. They don't make these anymore. But if you can find one. Get it. You won't be dissapointed. I am impressed. I got mine about a month ago for $300.00. Worth every penny and some.

The tantrums birthsheets have been known to read nearly 1500 watts. If you could get a hold of one, thats the one ide choose out of the 2 for power reasons.

FYI: Those JL amps are not "super efficient". The JL 500/1 tested at 57% efficiency...which is horrible for a class D amp.
