I am looking to upgrade the gauge of my powercables going to my JL 1000/1. I am receiving powerdrops at high volumes but when i jingle the power cable the powerdrops go away, therefore i am attributing the drops to poor wiring. I am going to replace the cable bc i think it is bad, I currently have 4 gauge and i am wondering what is the thickest cable i can run? Will the amp accept 0 gauge? Simply said i am wondering if the hole on the amp is big enough lol?

The hole is not big enough, but you get purchase ends that will go over the 1/0 and then have a male end that sizes down to 4awg.

Option B - Run to a distribution box and run a short 4 ga to the amp. I had to do that with my 2 1000/1's - (Still get too low of voltage due to the high amp draw.)
