Jl 1000/1 or rockford t1000bd to power 2 - JL 10W7's

Which amp would be better for my 2 - JL 10W7's I herd some great things about both. Just wanting to hear opinions, I don't want to over power the subs, nor under power them.

I would go with the T10001 - a lot cheaper and lil bit more powerful

Would i be overpowering the subs though, I have herd the T1000bd has more Rms they stated and it could put out around 1200rms wats

You will be fine with the T1000bd. The JL is really clean power though, I like the JL's ran the 300/2 and loved it. Either is fine but the extra pwr from the T1000bd would be nice to have on tap.

Why is it so much cheaper, 300-400 dollars cheaper then on rockford's site and in stores?

The bd will have more power, the JL will have REALLY good sound quility.....

The difference is that the JL will make full power on those subs, the Rockford won't. It's unlikely that you would be able to hear any difference between the two in any case.
