Jigsaw vs Router to cut out circle for sub

Your'e right man, router is preferred, but not required. no need for me to be dickish.

i have a jasper jig, but i don't have the router yet. the router i had didn't fit the jasper. so i still use a jigsaw, though a nice scrolling jigsaw. i'm pretty good with it, but as stated, a router will get you perfect cuts. course, a much larger investment with a circle jig, plunge router, and spiral up-cut bits compared to a jigsaw.
