Jesus = deebeez?

You mean like, say, "global warming"? You call that "science"? Most "science" today is politicized or in the case of "global warming", no wait, they have changed it to "climate change", it is actually nothing more than a new religion. You know, the same religion you and others have so much fun dumping on. If you think just because there is the term "theory" behind something scientific gets you off the hook you are sadly mistaken. There is a lot of crappy science out there and there just as many crappy scientists out there as there are crappy religious leaders.
And if you think that "science" like evolution or the "big bang" can really be proven anymore than that God exists, you are as sadly misinformed as you think us religious nuts are. There is a shitload of guesswork going on in the realm of evolution and physics. Oh yeah, again, because you say that those are "theories", you're off the hook. So then why wave them around like they are the end all and be all? I believe in science when it can be empirically proven. To assume that we now know beyond any doubt that God does not exist and that we all evolved from the primordial ooze is to be as ignorant as you think us religious folk are.

There is a reason they call it "faith" son. And I find it amazing that so many on this site can make fun of Jesus, God and religions in general yet as soon as someone criticizes "science", well, we can have NONE of that! I believe in both, as I said, and I certainly don't go around on this site dumping on those who are either agnostic or atheist.

I'm happy to be Catholic and believe what I believe. What the rest of you "believe" does not really concern me, but please make some attempt to refrain from bashing us as children who believe in "jewish fairytales". There's a major "science fairytale" occurring right now, it's called "global warming/climate change", Al Gore is your Pope, and you all run around believing it and calling us kooks. Yeah, makes a whole lot of sense.
Strike a nerve, did I? You really want to do this? I'll slice holes in your argument, if you really want to go down this road. But I like you, so Im giving you this opportunity to back out, respectfully.

And I'm not so sure that simply responding to a post with more than a pithy comment qualifies as "striking a nerve". Like I said, I don't go out of my way to jump all over anyone on this site who claims to be agnostic or atheist. It's your choice. Whatever. But don't preach that all the so-called "science" in the world is the end all and be all. I'm not arguing that the Earth isn't round or that the Earth is the center of the universe. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

You haven't been following the convo very well friend. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I didn't start this preachfest, as I pointed out quite clearly in my initial post. Im not saying science is the end-all be-all, Im pointing out the difference between science and religion to someone who wishes to equate his completely faith based religion as equally as plausible as verifiable scientific testing.

Im still waiting for an answer on if you wish me to respond to your nonsensical post from earlier.
